In this special gathering, I’ll be sharing how to create both haku (flower crowns) and traditional leis—teaching the techniques, symbolism, and intention woven into each bloom.
As we craft, we’ll also embrace the Hawaiian practice of Talk Story—or Wala‘au—a cherished time to slow down, connect, and share from the heart. I’ll invite you into stories from my childhood in Hawai‘i, the meaning behind the lei as a gesture of love and honor, and the ways flowers have carried healing and joy through generations.
